Our Lenten series called “Sharing Life Stories: Doorways to Meaning, Connection and Purpose” and runs from the first Sunday of Lent (February 22) through Palm Sunday (March 29). The series will follow on and go deeper into themes from our discipleship series last fall (“Transforming Relationships”). We’ll explore fresh ways of understanding and interpreting the story of our lives with a goal of becoming more alive in the present, more aware of God’s love and more engaged with a sense of meaning and purpose.

Our winter discipleship series called “Justice For All” is an exploration of the Book of Amos. Amos was a Hebrew prophet in the 8th century BCE (around 2700 years ago!) and yet his message is as relevant as ever today. He challenges humanity in general (and people who claim to be religious in particular) about injustice and inequity in society, laying down a passionate (and frequently very uncomfortable) challenge to do something about it.
