Harvest Festival

Learn more about Cedar Ridge

This year, our Harvest Festival is scheduled for Saturday October 4, 4-7 p.m. (The rain date is Sunday October 12, 12-3 p.m.) Join us for a fun-filled afternoon on our 63-acre farm property! We will celebrate another bountiful harvest on our farm with live music, food, and fun activities.

The event is wheelchair and stroller accessible, but please note, the ground is uneven.

If you are able, we ask that you please bring an unexpired box of granola bars or small packets of snack crackers to benefit school feeding programs.

What activities will there be?

Help yourself to free popcorn and cider when you arrive. Visit the Squeals on Wheels petting zoo under the big tent. Pick a pumpkin and then paint or carve it at the picnic tables. Take a hayride around our property and see if you can spot the pumpkins hiding in the woods and meadows. Burn off some energy on the three large inflatables. Decorate yourself with temporary tattoos. Fuel up at the food trucks. This year, we are pleased to host

    • Catalyst Hotdogs, serving meat and vegetarian hotdogs, chips, and drinks
    • Pizzeria Coco, serving a range of oven-baked pizzas
    • Steam Valve Coffee for ice drinks and mocktails
    • Clayboys Shaved Ice with refreshing snow cones

Take photos at the photo booths, play games, learn about the historic property, and more. All activities are free and everyone is welcome!

Why are we holding a Harvest Festival?

Each year we grow about 2 tons of organically produced vegetables and fruit in our community garden (a.k.a. farm). Volunteers from Cedar Ridge Community Church and surrounding neighborhoods work together to plant, water, weed, and harvest approximately 20 different types of fresh food. All of this food is donated in collaboration with Manna Food Center to local families in need. We’d love to have you volunteer with us next season! Check out the farm page for more information. We see our farm as a way to serve the community, and as a small but integral part of our vision for a kinder and more just world. This year’s bounteous harvest is a great reason to celebrate! So we hope you can join us on Saturday October 4, 4-7 p.m.
