Welcome to Cedar Ridge’s Children and Youth Page!

As Pastor of Children at Cedar Ridge, I’d like to let you know about what we offer for those 18 years old and younger. Our children and youth ministries are designed for families who want their children and teenagers to explore what it means to follow Jesus. At Cedar Ridge, they will dig in, seek, question, investigate, and search. With parents and leaders providing some guidance along the way, we have hopes of discovering together an adventurous life with God, with an eye towards making the world a better place.

On Sunday mornings, children through fifth grade meet in the main building, while middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) students gather in our spacious barn. While here, they’ll have opportunities to seek God, build friendships, engage in meaningful conversations, explore the story of God as told in the Scriptures, wrestle with and live out the teachings of Jesus, enjoy the beauty of our property, serve those in need, and play. Our leaders are passionate, but they don’t claim to have all the answers, and are committed to creating a safe place where young people can explore what it means to follow Jesus at their own pace.

While we believe that age-specific ministries are important, our dream is that children, youth, and adults will pursue our vision for following Jesus together.  We provide opportunities for all ages to worship, serve on the farm, travel to Guatemala, learn on Sundays, attend small groups, and have fun together.  We also strive to support and encourage families as they guide their children on this journey of faith.

Consider this your invitation to check us and see if Cedar Ridge is what you’ve been looking for. If you do, look for me, and I’ll be happy to introduce you to some of the great kids, students, and leaders who call Cedar Ridge their home.

All the best,

Bryan Peterson
