CRCC Global Engagement

Logo - Cedar Ridge Community Church

As we experience God's love and healing and become more aware of God's Kingdom and the life and freedom it brings, we naturally want to share that with others. We do this not in a condescending way, not as brokers of power, but as servants who recognize the dignity, the beauty, the image of God in every person.

As we think about global engagement, it's inseparable from the other aspects of loving our neighbors around us. As we spend time with people we are profoundly changed ourselves. As we serve, we experience personal transformation that is part of the inward journey of discipleship. In our engagement, we seek to take time to develop understanding, build relationships with local people, learn from them and partner together to bring about the goodness of the Kingdom of God.

Give a Coat to the Needy this Winter

Logo - Cedar Ridge Community Church

We will collect winter coats on November 6, 13 and 20, to be given to needy residents of Riverdale and the surrounding area. Many will go to new immigrants from Guatemala. We ask that you search your closets and attics for unneeded coats to share with those who will otherwise face the winter without a coat. The greatest need is for men's coats, followed by children and then women.

Pray for the Guatemala team and sign up to get updates!

On June 17 our team of 14 high school and middle school students along with 5 leaders left for Ipala, Guatemala. They’ll be there for 10 days serving in practical ways and building relationships with other young people from Ipala. It will be a life changing experience for this team as well as another important step in our developing partnership with the people of Ipala. This trip is something we are doing as a whole community. The team are part of us all and we have all contributed to the trip through our prayers, our words of encouragement and the incredibly generous way in which we have given funds. I want to thank you for all this overwhelming generosity. The trip would simply not have been possible without it. Thank you!  » Read more
