A very Merry Christmas to everyone! As we celebrate the mystery and wonder of the birth of Jesus, I hope that you will be able to experience the love, joy and peace of Christmas with friends and family over the next few days. Thank you for being part of this community and for your dedication to following Jesus over this past year.
I look forward to seeing you at our candlelit Christmas Eve service on Saturday. We’ll celebrate the birth of Jesus with some great music, carols, drama and readings. The service starts at 5PM but come early to enjoy coffee, hot cider, hot chocolate and to join with our choir as they sing carols in the commons. After the service everyone is invited to take a Christmas box full of goodies to deliver to someone who has to work on Christmas Eve – a simple way to bring God’s love to others.
Remember that there are no services on Sunday December 25th but we will all gather again on Sunday January 1st for one service with all ages together at 10AM. Please also note that our church office will be closed next week between Christmas and New Year.
Let’s all celebrate with joy and may the miracle of God’s love sink deeply into our hearts.
