Our special Christmas Eve Service will last one hour and will be suitable for all ages, so bring along family and friends as we celebrate the birth of Christ together. At the end of the service there will be Christmas boxes full of edible treats to deliver to people who have to work on Christmas Eve. These boxes will be prepared by our children on Sunday, December 21, and are a simple way for us to share God’s love with others. Bring a little of God;s light into someone’s Christmas.
If you are new to Cedar Ridge and would like to find out more about our church and how you can get involved, we invite you to the Welcome Lunch in room 202, immediately following the service. A light lunch will be served.
At this year’s Annual Meeting on January 11,members will be voting on 2015 Board Candidates in addition to getting an in-depth look at progress made towards our Vision in 2014. While only members are permitted to vote, we encourage our whole church community to participate in the meeting. Lunch will be served.
Please join us after church on Sunday, January 25, to help make gift bags of children’s books for children at Riverdale Elementary School, many of whom are from Ipala families. Through this monthly project, every child in the school receives on his or her birthday a special gift which encourages lifelong learning. We welcome donated books, but most of all will enjoy your presence and help with this fun project!
