Holiday Grief Workshop: December 1

The holidays are often a painful time for those of us who are grieving. Life’s losses become magnified this time of year, and the noise and celebration around us can be jarring. “Come aside and rest awhile” with others who understand. We’ll pray and share ideas and strategies for coping with loss during the holidays. Join us upstairs in the Barn on Monday, December 1, from 7 to 9 PM. For info contact Melanie Griffin (melanieLgriffin@gmail.com).

Our special Christmas Eve Service will last one hour and will be suitable for all ages, so bring along family and friends as we celebrate the birth of Christ together. At the end of the service there will be Christmas boxes full of edible treats to deliver to people who have to work on Christmas Eve. These boxes will be prepared by our children on Sunday, December 21, and are a simple way for us to share God’s love with others. Bring a little of God;s light into someone’s Christmas.
