Updates and Information
In-Person Services
Sunday morning services are held in-person. The adult service is also live-streamed via zoom.
Good Friday Service: March 29, 7:00 – 8:00 PM
We will gather for an interactive contemplative service where we will share communion and reflect on the various responses to Jesus in his final hours, as recorded in Mark’s Gospel. As we place ourselves in the scene, we will humbly acknowledge our part in contributing to the darkness, as well as resolving to be the light of the world.
Easter Sunday Service: March 31, 10:00 AM
Join us for a fun, family-friendly celebration of Easter. Our service at 10 AM will be enjoyable for the whole family and appropriate for children of all ages.
Join us for an hour of stillness, reflection and guided prayer practices in the Barn. Please sign up to let us know you are coming.
Join us for the opening ceremony of our newly restored farmhouse. Then, kick off the growing season by planting spring vegetables on our community farm. Invite friends and family. Light refreshments will be served. SSL hours available.
Are you a maker, crafter, artist or simply creatively curious? Let’s have some fun! We’ll be gathering monthly to work on our own and/or group projects and spend time connecting with one another. All are welcome! Contact Kate Thomas (creativekate@gmail.com) for more info.
April is Second Chance Month, and the CRCC Criminal Justice Reform Team will hold a panel discussion on April 14 after the morning service, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The expert panel will focus on Re-Entry from Incarceration. Pizza will be served after the service and before the session begins.
Join us for coffee, hot chocolate, and breakfast items at 10 AM before departing in groups to serve our local community. Some projects will occur in the church building or on our farm or property. Others will take place off-campus at nearby schools, parks and other sites.
Help us Fill the Farmhouse Reading Room
We are collecting books on racial justice. These books will be placed in the Farmhouse Reading Room dedicated to Colleen Heitkamp, whose generosity financed the renovation and who shared our community’s passion for racial justice. For more information visit our book registry.
Sunday Morning Book Study Group: Most Sundays, 8:45 AM in room 203
The group is currently reading and discussing Inspired: Slaying Giants, Walking on Water, and Loving the Bible Again, by Rachel Held Evans. For questions, or to confirm a specific Sunday, please contact Dave Martinsen (davidmartinsen@yahoo.com). Everybody is welcome!
