April 11, 2010: Several Cedar Ridge members as well as members of the Global Engagement Team discuss their recent visit to Guatemala. We also looked at our relationship with Guatemalans in our community. Speakers Vernon Archer, Kevin Richardson, Beth Hood and Dayna Kranker discuss how we as a community can become more involve with helping the people of Guatemala.
A Community of Servants
For two weeks we focus on two important ways we endeavor to serve as community. On April 11, 2010 we devote the day to our growing connection to Guatemala and especially with our local friends from Ipala. There will be fun and games for everyone after second service including Guatemalan food and a soccer match between the Iplatecos and Cedar Ridge! The following Sunday, April 18 will be devoted to our Community Farm as we welcome in Spring and prepare for the growing season again.
