Our desire is to be a community where no one feels alone, whether a person has just joined us or been present for years. We want each person to be accepted and respected and each journey cherished, no matter where a person has been in the past. We long to be a place where people can find hope and healing and the power to change, no matter what they are struggling with in the present.

We recognize that people are unique and there are many contexts where true belonging and community can flourish. There are many groups of people meeting at Cedar Ridge throughout the week seeking to learn, grow and heal together with others in focused and practical ways, being equipped and prepared to walk in greater peace and freedom in daily life, enjoying meaningful relationships with others on the way.

Group meeting for discussing the book Boundaries

The purpose of our recent Discipleship Series "Love One Another: Growing Authentic Relationships Even When It's Hard" was to equip us to grow in handling conflict in the way of Jesus.  We focused on developing strong relationships skills, including observing healthy boundaries.  A group is meeting the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month to discuss the highly acclaimed book "Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life" by Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend.  We discuss one chapter at each meeting (there are 16 chapters).

The Journey

We believe that each person is a unique and sacred being created in the very image of God.

God is lovingly calling every person into a personal, unique and dynamic relationship.  Jesus urged his followers to respond to that call by following him with everything they have.  He promised that the pursuit of knowing God and becoming like Jesus is the path to peace and abundant life. » Read more
