As part of our Advent Day of Service, Cedar Ridge is throwing a Christmas party for children.  Honored guests will be families from Ipala, Guatemala who live in our area, as well as a limited number of kids from Cedar Ridge.  The event will be held from 2-3pm on Sunday, December 11 at the CASA de Maryland building (8151 15th Ave., Hyattsville, MD 20783).

The first 30 Cedar Ridge children (elementary school age and under) who sign up will be able to join in the games, snacks, and gifts.  It's a great opportunity to have fun with kids who are connected with our friends in Guatemala. You'll have an opportunity to sign up at the Children and Youth table in the Commons area on Sunday, December 4.  If you won't be at church on Sunday, please send an email to bry...@crcc.org by Monday, December 5, listing the number of children who will be attending.

We are also looking for about 10 additional adults or teens to help out with this event.  Parents, if you're bringing your kids, we'll be happy to put you to work.  Bill Duncan and Rebecca Winner are coordinating the party and will be happy to answer questions you might have.  On the morning of December 11 (as other groups are serving), participants are encouraged to meet at Cedar Ridge to wrap gifts and get instructions for the event.
