We're finishing up our series about prayer and worship, and will begin a God in the Movies Series for children. The new series will go from July 4th through August 8th. We'll watch longer clips and sections of movies, and will talk about how they relate to a characteristic of God, the person of Jesus, or an aspect of following Christ.

Featured movies for preschoolers are:

Disney Earth - a documentary about the natural world, and its animals. We'll discuss creation and empathy for the things God has created. July 4th and 11th.

Cars - an animated film about racecars learning what it means to be a good friend, and to put the needs of others before your own. July 25th, Aug 1 and 8th.

Featured movies for children in elementary school are:

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs- an animated film about a quirky inventor, who learns about being himself and leaning on his friends. July 4th, July 11th, July, 18th.

Shrek - an animated film about the risks and benefits of being honest with others, and letting your flaws show. July 25th, August 1, August 8th.
